Proxy setup in Google Chrome
Before starting, obtain the connection data (host, port, login/password):

Chrome features
- Chrome does not have a built‑in separate proxy form.
- It uses system settings of Windows, macOS or Linux.
Windows
- Open Chrome.
- Menu ⋮ → Settings.
- In the search field enter
proxy
. - Click Open your computer’s proxy settings.
- A Windows system window will open (see Windows).
- Enter the host, port and, if necessary, login/password.
macOS
- Open Chrome → Settings.
- Enter in search:
proxy
. - Click Open your computer’s proxy settings.
- The macOS settings window will open (see macOS).
Linux
- Chrome uses environment variables or launch flags.
- Launch with a proxy:
google-chrome --proxy-server="http://p2.mangoproxy.com:2333"
- Or configure the proxy in Linux.
Checking
- Go to https://2ip.ru or https://whoer.net and make sure the IP has changed.
