Firefox features
- Firefox has its own proxy settings that can be independent of the system proxy.
Setup
- Open Firefox.
- Go to ≡ → Settings.
- Under the Network section, select Settings….
- Choose from:
- No proxy
- Auto‑detect
- Use system proxy settings
- Manual proxy configuration (select this option)
- Fill in the fields:
- HTTP Proxy:
p2.mangoproxy.com
, port2333
. - If using SOCKS5: select SOCKS v5 and enter the host and port.
- HTTP Proxy:
- If necessary, enable Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5.
Checking
- Go to https://2ip.ru or https://whoer.net and verify that the IP address has changed.
