Proxy setup in Mozilla Firefox

Firefox features

  • Firefox has its own proxy settings that can be independent of the system proxy.

Setup

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Go to ≡ → Settings. Interface Firefox
  3. Under the Network section, select Settings….
  4. Choose from:
    • No proxy
    • Auto‑detect
    • Use system proxy settings
    • Manual proxy configuration (select this option) Interface Firefox
  5. Fill in the fields:
    • HTTP Proxy: p2.mangoproxy.com, port 2333.
    • If using SOCKS5: select SOCKS v5 and enter the host and port. Interface Firefox
  6. If necessary, enable Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5.
